Fungal endocarditis, once considered an uncommon disease. disease has been reported with increasing frequency over the past decade This infection is generally associated with narcotic addiction. prolonged intravenous hydration or cardiovascular
surgery.
Untreated fungal endocarditis is uniformly is uniformly fatal.
In this paper, we report a case of fungal endocarditis cause by Trichoderma species in 39 year old female with prosthetic mitral valve. and the review of literature was made.
